The Office of Management and Budget issued a directive to agencies on March 17, 2020 to re-align operations within 48 hours of the notice to deter the spread of coronavirus. The order instructs agencies to adopt changes to protect the workforce and also prioritize mission-critical activities. Depending on the products or services sold, some contractors should be prepared to potentially receive stop or suspend work orders as agencies comply with this mandate. You can read the order here.
